July Training & Nutrition Summary

Hey again,

I’ve been focusing heavy on Karate RX lately. I had a drop ceiling installed, upgraded the gym’s OS to Wodify and I’m working on automating more with ChatGPT to improve our workout programming so our athletes get the best fitness results possible. Ever since my surgery I have been trying to ease back into workouts without overdoing anything.

July felt like the first month where I was “myself” again. I have some training data that I am going to share. I actually made an Instagram post for this first that I’ll be using to illustrate the data. We’ll see if I feel like going more in depth, if you want more than you see or have questions - please let me know in the comments.

Body Changes

While I was recovering from surgery, I joked around with people and told them that I was working on my “before” picture. I got into bad eating habits, poor sleeping habits and felt very sad most nights. Working out is a big outlet for me and I didn’t have it, so I resorted to video games and junk food. In July I started logging my food again and got back on the “Average Ninja” path. So, I have a “before” picture for you and a “still in progress” picture. I am actively cutting weight atm so I can make progress on my front lever. Surprise surprise, a caloric deficit and steps is the way to go with losing weight.

March 30th

No discipline, not tracking food, tons of sugar and soda, playing video games every night.

August 17th

This was this morning. Probably would look better if I didn’t stay up until 4 working on this site, but I actually weigh more in this picture than the last one and I feel much stronger and confident in my body.

You can see my July goals and data rounded up in the pics below!

Training Data

I think that is it for me guys. I need to get in a front lever session tomorrow morning before planning day at KRX. Until next time!
